Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to sit between the business and the ERP technology that runs it. You will work with Operations, Sales, and Finance leadership to understand what they are trying to accomplish, then shape that into work a technical team can build with confidence.
What You'll Do...
-
Build working relationships with functional and site leadership.
- Understand margin pressure, growth plans, and capability gaps well enough to contribute to a rolling roadmap.
-
Serve as the front door for technology requests, triaging each one to resolve, route, shape, or decline with rationale.
- Produce documentation that engineering can build from and that stakeholders recognize as their own problem stated back to them.
- Express technical constraint, risk, and cost in business terms such as cycle time, revenue at risk, and hours deflected.
-
Build genuine working knowledge of the application estate. Trace a process end to end across system boundaries and understand where the data actually lives.
- Take assignment of ambiguous issues and drive them to documented resolution alongside the stakeholders.
-
Maintain the connective tissue on active initiatives: status, decisions, dependencies, and the written record that survives turnover. Partner with technical staff and external consultants.
-
Identify and qualify candidates for automation, integration, and AI-assisted workflow. Build the business case, define the success measure, and verify after implementation that the benefit materializes.
-
Serve as a business-side integration resource for newly acquired entities mapping incoming process to the standard stack and identifying what must be preserved and converted.
