Duties
- Safely operate the minibus on scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition, including checking mechanical components and safety equipment
- Communicate clearly with passengers, providing route information and addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring accessibility for all individuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks or report issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading, and emergency situations
Experience
- Proven commercial driving experience, preferably as a van driver or delivery driver with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical knowledge to identify basic vehicle issues and support routine maintenance
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact effectively with passengers and team members
- Prior experience operating minibuses or similar vehicles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations applicable to passenger transportation
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to vehicle checks and passenger assistance confidently
