We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Engine Test Stand 1st shift Mechanic to support Dyno Operations with test properties. This role involves hands-on work with a variety of Propulsion Systems including internal combustion engines, full powertrains, and electric drive motors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install internal combustion engines, full powertrains, and electric drive motors onto dyno test carts.
- Remove and reassemble external engine components as needed.
- Assist with catalyst aging procedures and dyno cell exhaust system development.
- Perform basic welding and fabrication.
- Support setup and maintenance of engine instrumentation and exhaust components.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year experience with welding and metal fabrication
- Experience with welding MIG / TIG, and metal fabrication - Minimum 1 year of experience
- Ability to read basic prints - Minimum 1 year of experience
- Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation - Minimum 1 year of experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with welding MIG / TIG, and metal fabrication - 3 years of experience.
- Ability to read basic prints - 3 years of experience
- Familiarity with engine and exhaust system instrumentation - 3 years of experience
- State or SAE certifications a plus.
