Overview
Brain Injury Services of Northern Ontario provides a variety of rehabilitation and support services to individuals living with the effects of an acquired brain injury. BISNO is currently recruiting for the following position for our Assisted Living Program.
Responsibilities: Under the direction on the Manager the Supervisor leads designated teams in delivering safe, ethical, person-centred rehabilitation and support services in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, strategic priorities, and applicable legislation.
Direct day-to-day service delivery for assigned programs. Guide, coach, mentor, and supervise team members to support effective performance, professional development, and high-quality service provision. Set performance goals, develop action plans, conduct regular supervision, and complete detailed performance evaluations for assigned team members. Support recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and mentoring of new team members. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with the organization’s Code of Ethics, policies and procedures, program operations manuals, and relevant legislation. Promote a safe work environment. Provide direct service to clients when required. Participate in the On-Call Supervisor rotation.
Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Human Services with a minimum 3 years related work experience providing services in a community related setting, supervisory role and program administration. Strong commitment to supporting individuals towards attaining their goals. Strong supervisory skills with a positive, empathetic and non-judgemental attitude. Adaptive to change with the ability to react responsibly in crisis situations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong willingness to learn. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Pay: $67,722.30-$73,611.20 per year
