The Position

We are looking for an experienced Data Quality & Enablement Manager to establish and lead the Data Quality capability across Data Services teams.

This role is responsible for improving how quality is measured, governed, and enabled across Data Scrum teams. The role will provide leadership, guidance, quality frameworks, governance, and capability development to help teams deliver reliable and well controlled data solutions through consistent quality standards, practices, and ways of working.

The successful candidate will build and lead a Data Quality Community of Practice, define and track capability KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, drive adoption of quality standards and best practices, and promote consistency in quality approaches across Data Services. The role will work closely with SMEs and Test Leads to support the successful delivery of Data Quality objectives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and lead the Data Quality Community of Practice, bringing together Data Testers across Data Services.

Define and promote Data Quality and Data Testing standards, frameworks, best practices, and operating models that support consistency and long-term sustainability across Data Services.

Define and own quality KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and maturity measures, providing leadership with meaningful insight into quality performance, testing effectiveness, capability health, and improvement opportunities.

Assess capability strengths, gaps, and development opportunities across the Data Quality community and support targeted upskilling initiatives.

Facilitate knowledge sharing, coaching, mentoring, and onboarding activities to improve capability and consistency across teams.

Act as the recognised point of contact for Data Quality capability, standards, governance, risks, and improvement opportunities across Data Services

Facilitate collaboration between delivery teams and Data Quality SMEs to address Data Quality challenges and improve outcomes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen quality controls, improve testing effectiveness, and reduce delivery risk across Data Services.

Identify and promote opportunities to improve Data Quality capabilities, processes, tooling, and ways of working across Data Services.

Coordinate and facilitate resolution of complex Data Quality and Data Testing challenges, leveraging SMEs where required.

Support recruitment activities, helping ensure new hires align with Data Quality capability requirements and future strategic direction.

Required Skills and Experience

-
Experience leading Communities of Practice, capability initiatives, centres of excellence, or organisational improvement programs.

-
Experience defining and implementing standards, frameworks, governance models, or operating practices that drive consistency across multiple teams.

-
Experience developing capability, coaching individuals and teams, and supporting organisational learning and continuous improvement.

-
Experience creating and managing quality metrics, KPIs, dashboards, maturity assessments, and reporting.

-
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive adoption of new practices across multiple teams.

-
Strong understanding of Data Quality, Data Testing, and Quality Engineering principles, frameworks, and best practices.

Experience supporting multiple Agile delivery teams and influencing outcomes

-
Experience identifying opportunities to improve quality processes, controls, tooling, and ways of working.

Experience evaluating, adopting, or promoting AI enabled solutions to improve quality, reporting, analysis or delivery effectiveness

Strong analytical, problem solving, and continuous improvement mindset.

Knowledge of data platforms, ETL processes, data integration, reporting, analytics, or related data disciplines sufficient to engage effectively with technical SMEs and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Experience

-
Experience working within Healthcare, Insurance, or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of Data Validation, Data Quality controls, and data assurance practices.

Knowledge of modern data platforms, architectures, and data delivery practices.

Awareness of modern Data Quality and Data Testing tools, test automation approaches, and industry trends.

Experience implementing capability maturity assessments or quality frameworks.

-
Experience supporting the evaluation and adoption of quality, reporting, analytics, or data management capabilities.

-
Professional certifications in Data Quality, Data Management, Quality Engineering, Testing, Agile, or related disciplines.

-
Certifications or recognised training in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, AWS AI, or related AI technologies.
