We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Procurement Director to lead our procurement functions and drive excellence across sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations. Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that support organizational objectives, including category management and strategic sourcing initiatives.

- Lead procurement contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms while managing risk and compliance with procurement regulations such as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

- Oversee vendor contract management and supplier relationship management to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency across all procurement activities.

- Manage procurement processes utilizing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and e-procurement platforms to streamline purchasing workflows and enhance transparency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance, and project management to align procurement activities with operational needs.

- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or procurement issues to identify solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

- Ensure adherence to procurement regulatory standards while maintaining best practices in public sector purchasing when applicable.

Requirements

- Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments, with a strong background in contract negotiation and vendor management.

- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and e-procurement tools; familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of procurement category management, strategic sourcing, logistics, materials management, and production planning processes.

- Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations involving procurement contracts and supplier agreements across diverse categories.

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

- Deep knowledge of procurement regulations including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) for public sector purchasing when relevant.

- Exceptional communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
