This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Headquarters in Boston, MA (this role is not a virtual / remote position). 4 days in office / 1 day WFH.

The Wayfair Financial Operations organization is growing and looking to add a P2P Ops Senior Analyst to support the continued evolution of our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. This role combines operational execution with process improvement, supporting critical procurement and accounts payable workflows while partnering across the business to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. They are a quick learner who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and resolving complex operational issues with minimal supervision. This individual will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support system enhancements, improve operational processes, and ensure a seamless experience for internal partners and suppliers.

The Financial Operations team supports and manages the day-to-day activities for many teams across the organization. This team serves as a Finance service center for employees, suppliers, vendors, Offshore teams, Legal, HR, Procurement, Engineering, and other cross-functional business partners.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Serve as the regional point of contact for operational issues, HQ escalations, and time-sensitive requests requiring onshore support.

Investigate and resolve complex supplier, purchasing, invoice, payment, and workflow issues by identifying root causes and driving issues through resolution.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support operational initiatives, process improvements, and system enhancements.

-

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process validation, and implementation activities for new functionality and operational changes.

Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and within agreed payment terms while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial controls.

Review and validate vendor setup requests, purchase orders, invoices, payment transactions, and other Procure-to-Pay activities.

Respond to finance and procurement-related inquiries, supplier disputes, and internal escalations with a high sense of urgency and professionalism.

Complete payment reconciliations and support Accounting with month-end and quarter-end close activities, SOX controls, audit requests, and reporting needs.

Collaborate with offshore operational teams to ensure consistent execution, knowledge sharing, and adherence to established processes.

Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to improve operational consistency.

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while providing exceptional customer service and operational support.

Take ownership of assigned workstreams and projects while balancing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality results with minimal supervision.

Skills & Experience:

-

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

-

3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations, Financial Operations, Procure-to-Pay, or a related operational or analytical role.

Experience working with enterprise financial or procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa, or similar ERP platforms.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new business processes, systems, and technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional business partners to improve operational processes and support business initiatives.

-

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; SQL or reporting experience is a plus.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

-

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across the organization.

Self-motivated with strong decision-making skills, sound judgment, and a high degree of accountability.

Demonstrated passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

-

Proficiency in Google Enterprise Suite tools (Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet).

-

Extremely high level of discretion pertaining to confidential information.
