Job Purpose
To manage corporate, statutory and SEZ-specific compliance, including SEZ
applications, approvals, regulatory submissions, government liaisoning,
coordination and secretarial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and ROC/MCA
requirements.
- Manage Board/Committee meetings, notices, resolutions, minutes and
statutory records.
- Handle SEZ applications, registrations, approvals, permissions,
filings and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable SEZ Act, SEZ Rules, regulations,
notifications and guidelines.
- Coordinate and liaise with the Development Commissioner, SEZ
authorities, government officers and other regulatory departments.
- Handle officer liaisoning, regulatory follow-ups, applications,
approvals and clarifications.
- Manage end-to-end documentation and coordination for SEZ-related
regulatory matters.
- Coordinate with Customs, SEZ Administration, Development
Commissioner’s office and other government authorities, wherever
applicable.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, compliance trackers and compliance
calendars.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of
applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, legal advisors and regulatory
authorities.
- Take responsibility for managerial and supervisory activities related to
secretarial and compliance functions.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely completion of
SEZ compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Support management on corporate governance, SEZ regulatory
matters and compliance strategy.
Qualification & Skills
- Qualified Company Secretary (CS) – ICSI.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act, SEZ Act, SEZ Rules and
ROC/MCA compliance.
- Experience in SEZ applications, approvals and regulatory
compliance.
- Experience in government officer liaisoning and regulatory
coordination.
- Strong managerial, coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent drafting, documentation, communication and follow-up skills.
- Prior hands-on experience in an SEZ environment is strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently manage compliance activities and coordinate
with multiple stakeholders.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
