Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in servicing diesel engines and related systems. As a Diesel Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and safety of our fleet.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assemble and align various components of diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including HVAC systems, as needed.
- Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity and functionality.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role within the automotive or diesel industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues in diesel engines.
- Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus.
- Proficient in welding techniques for repairs and modifications.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated with industry advancements.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
