About the Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer to join the early engineering team of a fast-growing AI startup in Bangalore.
This is a high-ownership opportunity for an AI engineer who wants to work directly with the founders and build AI systems from the ground up.
You will work across the AI layer, including Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic AI, AI evaluation, voice AI, multimodal reasoning, and personalization, along with the infrastructure required to build fast, reliable, and engaging AI products.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working in a fast-paced startup environment, and taking ownership of products from idea to production.
What You'll Work On
- Build and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems.
- Develop applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows.
- Work on Voice AI systems and natural voice interactions.
- Explore and build solutions involving multimodal reasoning.
- Work on AI evaluation and improving the quality and reliability of AI systems.
- Contribute to AI personalization and product intelligence.
- Solve complex technical problems across the AI and product stack.
- Work closely with the founders on core AI and product decisions.
- Take substantial ownership of building and improving AI systems from the ground up.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related field.
- Must be a graduate/postgraduate of one of the top 10 IITs in India.
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience building AI/ML systems.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Agentic AI / AI Agents
- Voice AI
- Multimodal AI / Multimodal Reasoning
- Ability to build and deploy production-grade AI systems.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
