The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
About the Team:
As the Logistics Finance Sub-Lead, you will lead the governance of 3PL billing, claims, disputes, and payment reconciliation. You will serve as the key bridge between Logistics Operations and Finance Operations, ensuring accurate financial settlements, minimizing financial exposure, and driving process improvements across the end-to-end claims and billing lifecycle.
You will work closely with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, Product, Regional teams, and logistics partners to strengthen operational controls, improve processes, and deliver scalable solutions.
Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end validation and reconciliation of 3PL claims, billing disputes, and payment settlements.
- Drive timely resolution of complex operational and financial disputes while ensuring compliance with internal policies and contractual agreements.
- Partner with Logistics, Finance (AP/AR), Customer Service, Fraud, Product, and Regional teams to resolve cross-functional issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Own governance of claims and billing processes by monitoring KPIs, enforcing SLAs, and strengthening operational controls.
- Analyze claims, billing, and payment trends to identify root causes, financial risks, and opportunities to reduce write-offs and revenue leakage.
- Design and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardized validation frameworks to improve accuracy and scalability.
- Build dashboards and reporting to provide management with actionable insights on claims performance, financial exposure, and operational health.
- Support the Team Lead in driving operational excellence, stakeholder management, and strategic initiatives across Logistics Finance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Logistics Operations, Finance Operations, Supply Chain, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience handling claims, disputes, billing validation, payment reconciliation, or financial operations in a high-volume environment.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) or external vendors is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Customer Service, Product, or Regional teams.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, automation, or operational transformation initiatives.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query, and dashboard creation. Experience with Power BI or SQL is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills with the ability to work with large datasets and identify financial and operational risks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions using data.
- Self-driven with strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
