Duties
- Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and MATLAB for high-performance applications
- Lead research efforts in developing large-scale AI models with a focus on unsupervised learning techniques to enhance model accuracy and efficiency
- Implement model training pipelines on cloud platforms like AWS, ensuring scalable deployment and robust performance
- Conduct statistical analysis for research purposes, validating model outputs with rigorous quantitative methods
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences to share insights and foster innovation
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision solutions into distributed systems and robotics platforms
- Engage in machine learning/AI-based analysis for diverse datasets, including image, video, and signal processing data
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing advanced computer vision models within a research or industrial setting
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, C#, Java, R, and MATLAB for algorithm development and implementation
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and deep learning techniques including generative AI and natural language processing
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS for model training and deployment at scale
- Solid understanding of Linux-based systems, distributed computing architectures, and software development best practices
- Expertise in algorithm design, data mining, signal processing, and statistical analysis for research applications
- Background in machine learning/AI research with a track record of publishing conference papers or journal articles in related fields
- Knowledge of quantum engineering or robotics is a plus but not required
