Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep, repair, and overall functionality of our facilities and equipment in Singapore. In this role, you will lead a team of technicians, manage third-party vendors, and establish comprehensive preventive maintenance programs. Your goal will be to minimize operational downtime, manage building safety compliance, and optimize our resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and schedule daily workloads for a team of maintenance technicians and coordinators.
- Preventive Maintenance: Design and execute scheduled preventive maintenance protocols for machinery, electrical systems, and building utilities.
- Vendor Management: Supervise external contractors, negotiate service agreements, and ensure third-party repairs meet company standards.
- Budget Tracking: Track monthly maintenance costs, oversee spare parts inventory, and optimize standard operational expenses.
- Emergency Response: Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate quick resolutions for equipment failures or facility emergencies.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance practices comply with Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and local environmental regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facility or equipment maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical setups, and mechanical machinery.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Singapore's WSH requirements, Fire Safety Act, and building management codes.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written English to effectively lead teams and draft maintenance reports.
Pay: $3,500.00 - $7,500.00 per month
