Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on electric and gas-powered golf carts using advanced diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, suspension checks, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems such as engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and electrical components with precision.
- Repair and replace parts utilizing hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly techniques to restore vehicles to peak condition.
- Identify issues related to automotive engine systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements with attention to detail.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks and perform all-terrain vehicle (ATV) repairs when required.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or powersports repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in automotive engine systems repair and diagnostics.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, and using diagnostic tools effectively.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, brake repair, suspension work, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to operate motorcycle and ATV repair equipment confidently; familiar with motorcycle operation is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professional interaction.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and assembly techniques for mechanical repairs.
- Capable of performing basic vehicle troubleshooting and heavy lifting safely; familiar with automotive repair best practices.
- Knowledge of powersports engine repair and suspension systems enhances your versatility as a technician.
