Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs for industrial machinery, equipment, and engineering projects.
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuit diagrams.
- Perform electrical calculations, equipment sizing, and component selection.
- Design and document electrical control systems for machinery and equipment.
- Prepare electrical layouts, panel layouts, cable schedules, termination schedules, and I/O lists.
- Select electrical components including motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and protection devices.
- Review client drawings, specifications, CAD models, and technical information.
- Assist with electrical design verification, technical assessments, and certification.
- Interpret and apply relevant Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, BOMs, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and project engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
- Identify design issues and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Communicate with clients and project teams to clarify technical requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate technical feedback.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed accurately and within project timelines.
- Maintain project documentation and engineering records.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Experience in electrical design and engineering documentation.
- Good understanding of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Ability to read and prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar electrical/design software.
- Knowledge of motors, VFDs, sensors, control circuits, relays, contactors, and electrical protection systems.
- Understanding of electrical calculations and equipment selection.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and electrical safety requirements.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a Work From Home environment.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards of engineering documentation.
- Experience with industrial machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems, HMI, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Experience with control panels and motor control systems.
- Knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, and motor protection systems.
- Experience with mining, manufacturing, material handling, conveyors, or process plant equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical integration of hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Experience working with Australian engineering practices.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
