Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles across long distances (OTR routes)
- Transport various cargo types including refrigerated goods.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Ensure cargo is secured properly for transit to prevent damage or accidents during transportation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and route updates
- No Touch Unload!
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with tractor-trailers on long-haul routes (OTR)
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with freight handling and route driving.
- Experience driving refrigerated trailers.
- Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety standards for various cargo types
This position requires candidates to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability in route execution, and proficiency in handling different types of freight vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.60 - $0.62 per mile
