Job Summary
Role SummaryThe Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the core application components and workflow orchestration capabilities supporting the Clinical Data Exchange (CDex) platform. The role focuses on business workflow automation, task lifecycle management, request processing, operational work queues, exception handling, and integration with interoperability services, APIs, and enterprise healthcare systems. [CDex_Job_D...ptions_HCA | Word]Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop core application services supporting end-to-end clinical data exchange workflows.Implement business workflows for attachment requests, direct query processing, task-based exchanges, and operational work queues.Build workflow orchestration for request intake, assignment, routing, approvals, fulfillment, escalation, and closure.Develop task lifecycle management capabilities including status tracking, SLA monitoring, retries, exception handling, and notifications.Design and implement administrative modules for payer onboarding, request management, workflow configuration, and operational reporting.Integrate workflow services with FHIR APIs, Apigee, identity services, and enterprise healthcare platforms.Develop event-driven and asynchronous processing capabilities supporting high-volume healthcare transactions.Ensure application scalability, reliability, performance, and security compliance.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Support CI/CD pipelines, production deployment, monitoring, and operational support activities.Required Skills & ExperienceCore Application DevelopmentWorkflow Engine / Business Process ImplementationWorkflow Orchestration & AutomationTask Lifecycle ManagementQueue & Worklist ManagementREST API Development & IntegrationJava / .NET / Node.js Devel
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
2. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
