We are seeking a positive and supportive person to join our team at Circles Farm in Stock, where you will be responsible for working with small groups of primary age young people, predominantly outdoors on our farm setting, to engage them in activities that promote teamwork, understanding and personal development.
The young people we work with have a range of needs for which a mainstream school has not been a good fit. The ideal candidate will have practical skills gained through experience in an environment that engages young people in both practical and written activities, and be able to demonstrate a passion for engaging and inspiring.
Topics and activities you can cover with our learners are limitless, but a dynamic, therapeutic and personal approach is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a group of 1-3 learners, supporting during times of dysregulation as well as helping to develop and maintain the site and complete a variety of planning and administrative tasks.
The candidate will need to build strong bonds with young people and their colleagues and be a key part of a fun, professional and motivated primary provision. The role requires lots of energy and a proactive, ‘can do’ approach.
