About the Role
Komodo Health is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Vice President of Strategy to help define and execute the company’s long-term strategic direction.
This executive will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, evaluate new markets, strengthen competitive positioning, and translate high-level strategic priorities into measurable business initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic thinking with commercial judgment, analytical capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a rapidly evolving healthcare technology environment.
This position will have significant influence on corporate priorities, market expansion, product strategy, partnerships, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and refine Komodo Health’s short- and long-term corporate strategy.
- Identify new growth opportunities across healthcare technology, Life Sciences, real-world data, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
- Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, customer needs, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies that may impact the company’s strategic direction.
- Lead strategic planning processes and translate corporate objectives into clear priorities, initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
- Conduct market sizing, competitive analysis, business case development, and financial evaluation for new strategic opportunities.
- Support decisions related to new products, geographic expansion, partnerships, business models, and customer segments.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Data Science, and Technology teams to ensure alignment around strategic priorities.
- Develop executive-level presentations, strategic recommendations, and decision frameworks for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Komodo Health’s competitive positioning within the healthcare intelligence and AI ecosystem.
- Evaluate strategic partnerships, alliances, potential investments, and other corporate development opportunities.
- Establish performance metrics and frameworks to measure the effectiveness of major strategic initiatives.
- Lead high-priority cross-functional projects that require coordination across multiple departments.
- Provide leadership with clear recommendations based on quantitative analysis, market intelligence, and business judgment.
- Build and mentor a high-performing strategy organization as the company continues to scale.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, healthcare technology, Life Sciences, data analytics, digital health, or a related field.
- Significant experience in a senior strategy, corporate development, consulting, or business leadership position.
- Strong understanding of healthcare, Life Sciences, healthcare data, analytics, AI, or enterprise technology markets.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex business strategies in high-growth or rapidly changing environments.
- Strong financial modeling, market analysis, and business case development capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and communicate clear recommendations.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing decisions across multiple business functions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present strategic recommendations to executive audiences.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, advanced business degree, or relevant graduate degree preferred.

Pay: $398,670.00 - $689,700.00 per year
