Teach the AI Knowledge Revolution
Every product needs someone to explain it. What has changed is who is reading: your customers, your partners, your prospects, and the AI assistants now answering on your behalf. At eGain, we have built what Gartner calls the best AI-powered knowledge management platform on the market. Now we need someone to apply that same discipline to our own content.
The Opportunity
This is documentation and training as an engineering practice, not a writing queue at the end of the release cycle. You will build the structured, versioned, testable content that a new customer admin, a partner consultant, a prospect in a free trial, and our own AI assistant can each learn from. One corpus, four audiences, authored once. If you have been waiting for a role where content is a product surface rather than an afterthought, this is your moment.
What You’ll Do
- Own AI-native enablement for customers, partners, prospects, and self-sign-up users: onboarding, certification, and release training, generated and refreshed with AI in the loop
- Own the technical documentation set for the eGain AI product suite: administrator and developer guides, API references, deployment runbooks, and release notes
- Engineer the content pipeline so one corpus serves documentation sites, in-product help, and the retrieval layer behind our AI assistants
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, communications, or instructional design field
- 3 to 5 years in technical writing, learning and development, content engineering, or developer education at an enterprise software company
- A technical approach to L&D: you learn a product by using it, configuring it, and reading its API
- Hands-on AI automation first approach for every task.
- Docs-as-code fluency (Markdown, Git, static site generator or component CMS) and the ability to read REST APIs, JSON, and YAML
Bonus Points
- Docs, product training, and enablement owner in a startup
- Instructional design foundation: competency mapping, assessment design, certification
