Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Kempas, Johor
Join our Production / Assembly team and build your career in manufacturing leadership. We welcome both experienced candidates and fresh graduates, especially those with a background in Operations Management. Prior supervisory experience is not compulsory, training and guidance will be provided for candidates who are willing to learn, take initiative, accept challenges, and grow into the role.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily Box Build and Assembly production activities to achieve output, quality, efficiency, and delivery targets.
- Lead and coordinate production operators and line leaders, including manpower allocation and daily work assignments.
- Plan production activities based on customer requirements, production schedules, and available resources.
- Monitor production output, efficiency, downtime, quality performance, and manpower utilization.
- Ensure production activities are carried out according to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and other supporting departments to resolve production issues.
- Monitor product quality and ensure defects, rework, and process abnormalities are properly controlled.
- Conduct daily production briefings and communicate targets, priorities, safety requirements, and quality concerns to the team.
- Train, guide, coach, and motivate production operators to improve performance, productivity, discipline, and teamwork.
- Maintain 5S, safety, ESD, housekeeping, and workplace discipline within the production area.
- Ensure material availability and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent production interruptions.
- Maintain production documentation, work reports, attendance records, work-order records, and KPI reports.
- Support inventory activities and proper control of production materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce defects, rework, waste, and production losses.
- Lead the production team in achieving departmental KPIs and operational targets.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Industrial Management, Business Operations, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates without production or supervisory experience are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to learn and develop in the role.
- Training and guidance will be provided to suitable candidates with the right attitude, commitment, and potential.
- Willing to take initiative, accept challenges, make decisions, and take ownership of daily production responsibilities.
- Confident and comfortable in leading, communicating with, managing, and motivating production workers, including foreign workers.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at different levels.
- Possess good leadership potential, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work independently while cooperating effectively with production teams and other departments.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and handling changing production priorities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ERP/MES systems, manpower planning, or production reporting is an added advantage, but not compulsory.

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
