Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Red Seal Journeyman/woman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will bring your expert craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and passion for building to deliver top-quality projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Your expertise in carpentry and related trades will ensure that every project meets safety standards, specifications, and client expectations. Duties
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks.
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, siding, drywall installation, and tile laying to meet project specifications.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, doors, windows, and other fixtures with precision and attention to detail.
- Conduct construction estimating activities to assist in project planning and resource allocation.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining productivity standards.
- Collaborate with team members on plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and other trades as needed for integrated project completion.
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed Red Seal Journeyman/woman Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking, framing, finishing carpentry, and assembly.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints reading, construction estimating software (CNC experience is a plus), and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation, caulking, siding application, roofing techniques, and heavy machinery operation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools with a focus on safety protocols at all times.
- Background in construction restoration projects or handyman services is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality standards.
