Internal Sales Executive — Vacuum Excavation Hire
Pier (UK) Ltd is one of the UK's leading vacuum excavation and equipment hire specialists, operating a nationwide fleet of vehicles from our headquarters in Newton-Le-Willows.
We're looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join our sales team. This is a desk-based role focused on winning new work, growing existing accounts and keeping our fleet busy. If you're commercially minded, comfortable on the phone and want to build a career with a business that's growing fast, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Handling inbound enquiries and converting them into confirmed hires
- Making outbound calls to lapsed and target accounts to generate new business
- Preparing and following up quotations, and negotiating rates within agreed parameters
- Working closely with the operations and transport teams to match the right unit and operator to each job
- Keeping the CRM and sales tracker accurate and up to date
- Building long-term relationships with contractors, site managers and procurement teams
- Supporting the wider sales team to hit depot and national targets
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in internal sales, telesales or account management — plant hire, construction or industrial services is an advantage but not essential
- Confident phone manner and the resilience to pick up the phone every day
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A commercial head — you understand that margin matters as much as volume
Uncapped bonus structure

Pay: £26,436.00-£35,000.00 per year
