About the job
The basics
£20/hour
20 to 25 hours per week
3 days a week in-person in Aldgate, London
We're hiring a Marketing Intern to join the team and help us create content that gets cinnamon noticed.
You'll work closely with the founders and marketing team across social media, video, content, filming, events, and whatever else we're shipping that week.
This is not an internship where you spend three months watching from the sidelines. We want someone who wants to make things, get behind the camera, edit content, test ideas, and learn how marketing works inside a fast-moving AI startup.
If you're chronically online, have strong taste, know what makes content feel native rather than corporate, and want to build a serious portfolio quickly, you'll probably enjoy this.
What we're building
Our starting point is selling to real estate agencies, where we're replacing manual workflows with AI employees that handle tenant engagement, landlord outreach, compliance, and maintenance autonomously.
Property is one of the most important parts of people's lives, and the experience of buying, selling or renting one is still terrible. The industry is fragmented, compliance-heavy, and deeply inefficient. It runs on spreadsheets, missed calls, and manual processes that haven't changed in 30 years.
Nobody has built the definitive AI agent layer for real estate yet. That's what we're doing.
Your job is to help us tell that story in a way people actually want to watch, read, and share.
About us
- Backed by Entrepreneurs First and top-tier VCs
- Live with agencies across the UK with early US traction
- Building AI agents that don't just assist. They do the work.
- Based in Aldgate, London
- Fast-moving, ambitious, and very hands-on
What you'll do
Social and content
- Help run cinnamon's social channels across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, X, and other platforms we test.
- Turn ideas, customer stories, product updates, and founder conversations into content.
- Write captions, hooks, short-form posts, and scripts.
- Research trends, formats, creators, and conversations we should be part of.
- Help maintain a regular content calendar and make sure things actually get posted.
- Repurpose long-form content into clips, posts, carousels, and shorter pieces.
Filming and editing
- Film founders, team members, customers, events, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Help set up simple shoots in the office and on location.
- Edit short-form videos for social.
- Add subtitles, hooks, cuts, graphics, and other elements that make videos watchable.
- Spot good content moments while they're happening rather than waiting to be briefed on every clip.
Creative and marketing support
- Help brainstorm campaigns, content series, launches, and social experiments.
- Support customer case studies, testimonials, and marketing shoots.
- Help with events, dinners, conferences, and other cinnamon marketing activity.
- Create simple graphics, visuals, decks, or social assets using Canva, Figma, or AI tools.
- Keep an eye on competitors and interesting brands, then bring us ideas worth stealing, adapting, or improving.
- Jump into new marketing projects as they come up. Things move quickly here.
You'll be a great fit if
- You understand social media. You know the difference between something made for TikTok and something awkwardly reposted onto TikTok.
- You're comfortable filming. You don't need to be a cinematographer, but you're happy picking up a camera or phone and making something happen.
- You can edit. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Descript, or similar. We're flexible on the tool, less flexible on the output being boring.
- You can write. Strong hooks, clean captions, good instincts for tone.
- You have good taste. You can tell when content feels forced, overproduced, generic, or AI-generated.
- You're a maker. You'd rather create the post than spend two hours talking about the post.
- You're comfortable with AI tools. ChatGPT, Claude, image and video tools, editing tools, whatever helps you move faster.
- You move quickly. You can take a rough idea and turn it into something publishable without needing endless direction.
- You're proactive. If you see a good moment to film, an interesting trend, or a better way to do something, you say it.
We care much more about what you've made than what you've studied.
Nice-to-haves
- You've run or helped run a TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or other social account
- You've made short-form videos before
- You have your own content portfolio, personal account, university society page, side project, or creator account
- You're studying or recently graduated in marketing, media, communications, design, business, or something related
- You've used Canva, Figma, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools
- You're interested in startups, AI, property, technology, or creator-led brands
- You know what good Gen Z content looks like without needing someone to explain it to you
This role isn't for you if
- You only want to work on strategy and don't enjoy making the actual content
- You need every task fully scoped before getting started
- You aren't comfortable appearing behind a camera, filming other people, or asking someone to redo a take
- You think posting the same content across every platform counts as a social strategy
- You want a traditional corporate internship with lots of observation and not much ownership
- Fast-moving environments stress you out more than they excite you
How we work
We move fast and expect everyone to contribute.
You'll be working directly with people building the company, so you'll get a lot of exposure to how a startup actually operates, not just the marketing function.
Some days you'll be editing videos. Other days you might be filming a customer, helping at an event, writing social posts, testing a new format, or turning something the CEO said in a meeting into content before the end of the day.
You'll get feedback quickly, learn quickly, and ship a lot.
What we offer
- £20 per hour
- 20 to 25 hours per week
- 3 days a week working in-person from our Aldgate office

The biggest benefit is the amount you'll get to make.
