Job Description: SAP Ariba Consultant – Implementation Lead

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant / Implementation Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Indirect Procurement. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, and support of SAP Ariba solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Invoicing, CIG, and SAP S/4HANA integration, along with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation for Indirect Procurement.
- Configure and customize Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, and Invoicing modules.
- Configure approval workflows, forms, fields, templates, questionnaires, scoring, workspaces, and catalogs.
- Handle Sourcing events such as RFI, RFP, RFQ, and Auctions.
- Configure Contract Workspaces, clause libraries, templates, and compliance workflows.
- Configure requisitioning, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Invoicing processes.
- Design and troubleshoot external requisition import processes into SAP Ariba.
- Configure Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS) and Non-ERS invoicing processes.
- Manage 2-way and 3-way matching and reconciliation with SAP S/4HANA.
- Design and support integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA using Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
- Handle integration of master data such as vendors, materials, and cost centers.
- Support transactional document flows including PR → PO → GR → Invoice.
- Perform Ariba customization using custom fields, forms, business rules, and templates.
- Manage data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and master data loads.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, QA teams, and third-party vendors.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and hypercare activities.
- Prepare configuration documents, process flows, and technical/functional documentation.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP Ariba experience.
- Strong experience in:
- SAP Ariba Sourcing
- SAP Ariba Contracts
- SAP Ariba Buying
- SAP Ariba Invoicing
- Strong experience in SAP Ariba implementation and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Ariba customization, including forms, fields, approval flows, business rules, and templates.
- Strong experience with SAP Ariba CIG.
- Experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
- Hands-on experience with requisition import from external/non-Ariba systems.
- Knowledge of CXML, CSV/Excel-based imports, Open APIs, and middleware integrations.
- Understanding of field, UOM, cost object mapping, validation, and error handling.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience with 2-way/3-way matching and ERS.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement.
- Knowledge of SAP P2P processes.
- Experience with third-party procurement integrations.
- Exposure to Groovy scripting and Ariba extensibility.
- Experience with automation/testing tools such as Tosca.
- Experience working on global SAP Ariba rollouts.
Pay: ₹911,809.26 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
