Job Overview
Designs/develops software solutions requiring general domain knowledge and developing business experience.
Analyzes user requirements/needs and makes decisions within limited parameters under regular supervision.
Design and implement scalable enterprise data warehouse and data engineering solutions using Azure cloud services, Snowflake, Python, and Apache Airflow.
Architect and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data ingestion from multiple enterprise applications and external systems.
Lead technical solution design discussions and establish best practices for data architecture, orchestration, security, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Build reusable and configurable frameworks for batch, event-driven, and near real-time data processing patterns.
Collaborate with business, analytics, reporting, integration, and application teams to define data requirements and scalable solutions.
Ensure platform compliance with enterprise architecture, security, governance, logging, auditing, and operational standards.
Provide leadership and mentoring to development teams on software engineering best practices, coding standards, performance optimization, and cloud-native development.
Drive technical planning, estimation, solution reviews, and delivery execution across multiple initiatives and releases.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, data quality concerns, and pipeline failures.
Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for automated deployments and environment management.
Work closely with infrastructure and operations teams for environment provisioning, monitoring, patching, scaling, and maintenance activities.
Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, installation guides, and knowledge base articles.
Contribute to roadmap planning for platform modernization, automation, monitoring, observability, and AI-driven operational capabilities.
Provide regular status updates, technical metrics, and delivery reporting to program leadership.
Technical Skills Required
Core Technologies
Strong hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Azure cloud platform
Python development
Snowflake data warehouse
Apache Airflow orchestration framework
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field required.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience with enterprise integration platforms and API-based architectures is a plus.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale production platforms with high availability requirements.
