Vibe Putt Play is looking for an experienced Front-of-House Shift Lead to help manage daily operations at our blacklight mini golf and arcade entertainment center. Vibe Putt Play is Tacoma’s exciting new arcade and black-light mini-golf destination. Our entertainment venue features a 10-hole black-light mini-golf course, a large arcade, birthday parties, corporate events, and Secret Burger Kitchen downstairs.
As a new entertainment venue, we are building a strong opening team that will help establish our service standards and introduce Vibe Putt Play to the Tacoma community. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a new business, bring positive energy to the workplace, and help create the fun and welcoming atmosphere we want every guest to experience.
Position Summary
This is a hands-on leadership position. We are specifically looking for someone with previous shift lead, supervisor, or management experience who is comfortable directing employees, handling guest concerns, and taking responsibility for the facility during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the facility according to company procedures
- Lead the front-of-house team and assign daily tasks
- Make sure employees remain productive, professional, and guest-focused
- Provide friendly, confident customer service
- Manage front-counter operations, transactions, and cash handling
- Help control the flow of mini golf and arcade guests
- Review the day’s birthday parties, private bookings, and group events
- Coordinate with party hosts, golf attendants, and other team members
- Respond professionally to guest questions, concerns, and complaints
- Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and presentation
- Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists
- Communicate operational, staffing, and maintenance issues to management
- Help train, coach, and support new employees
- Enforce company policies and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Previous shift lead, supervisor, or management experience is required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable directing employees and holding the team accountable
- Dependable, organized, and able to work without constant supervision
- Confident handling difficult situations and guest concerns
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to open and close the facility
- Comfortable working in a busy, energetic environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and complete light cleaning duties
Preferred Experience
Experience in an arcade, family entertainment center, restaurant, hotel, retail business, event venue, or other guest-service environment is strongly preferred.

Because we are a new arcade and entertainment venue, every team member plays an important role in building our reputation. We are looking for people who take ownership, accept feedback, contribute ideas, and help make Vibe Putt Play one of Tacoma’s favorite places for families, friends, parties, and group events.
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week
