We are looking for a creative and ambitious individual who is committed in project management and capable of leading and managing a team to achieve success.

The Project Engineer (Chemical) will play a key role in driving compound formulation development, qualification, and implementation for Product Development. This role supports material research, supplier qualification, formulation testing, stability validation, pilot runs, and formula approval, while partnering closely with QA, Sourcing, RI teams, and vendors to deliver cost, quality, regulatory, and supply resiliency objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Manage compound formulation development and qualification to support new and existing product programs.

Conduct material research and evaluate alternative ingredients to improve performance, cost, compliance, and supply flexibility.

Support supplier qualification and onboarding for compound materials, raw materials, and related vendors.

Coordinate formulation testing, stability validation, pilot runs, and technical documentation to support formula readiness and approval.

Work closely with QA, Sourcing, RI teams, and vendors to review, validate, and approve formulas in line with product, regulatory, and quality requirements.

Manage formulation changes, dual-sourcing activities, and localized raw material implementation to strengthen supply resiliency.

Support cost, quality, regulatory, and resiliency initiatives for compound products through technical analysis, cross-functional coordination, and execution follow-up.

Requirement:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chemical formulation, compound development, materials engineering, polymer/plastics, coatings, adhesives, or related product development fields.

Experience in formulation qualification, material testing, pilot runs, supplier technical evaluation, or manufacturing scale-up is preferred.

Solid understanding of compound formulation development, raw material properties, formulation testing, stability validation, and qualification processes.

Knowledge of chemical materials, polymers, plastics, colorants, additives, coatings, adhesives, or related compound systems is preferred.

Experience working with QA, Sourcing, Regulatory/RI teams, vendors, and manufacturing partners to support formula approval and implementation.

Occasional travel is required.
