Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and highly trained Armed Security Guard to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, surveillance, and access control. Your expertise in law enforcement procedures, emergency response, and conflict management will ensure safety and peace of mind for everyone on-site. Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical security checks to deter unauthorized access and identify potential threats
- Control access points with precision, performing background checks on visitors, contractors, and employees to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety, first aid, CPR, AED operation, and firearm handling when necessary
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities for future review and legal compliance
- Manage access control systems efficiently to monitor entry and exit points while maintaining strict security standards
- Perform conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety
- Handle heavy lifting or manual handling tasks safely during patrols or security setup activities as required
Experience
- Proven experience in security roles, preferably with military or law enforcement background that includes surveillance operations and physical security procedures
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, firearm handling, Taser use, and emergency response procedures is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and performing background checks is essential
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict de-escalation and conflict management effectively in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of compliance with security regulations and heavy lifting techniques is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills combined with the ability to remain alert and professional at all times

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
