Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be Level 3 qualified for at least three years and have a passion for nurturing and educating young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a stimulating environment for their growth. Baby room experience would be an advantage but not essential. This role requires excellent management and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and caring environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare area, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
- Provide support in early childhood education initiatives, fostering a love for learning.
- Drive children to activities or appointments as needed, ensuring their safety at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children and parents.
- Previous management or leadership experience within a childcare context is advantageous.
