TMC Drafting Services, Inc. is looking for a motivated 3D Terrestrial Scanning Technician to join our team in Davenport, IA.
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in 3D laser scanning, reality capture, and field-based technology who enjoys working on a variety of projects and is willing to travel.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform terrestrial 3D laser scanning at project sites
- Set up and operate scanning equipment in the field
- Capture accurate existing-condition data for use by our drafting and design teams
- Coordinate scanning activities with project teams and clients
- Travel to project locations as required
- Assist with organizing and processing scan data
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and in the field
- Willing and able to travel
- Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious
- Experience with FARO 3D laser scanners is a plus
- Previous 3D scanning, surveying, construction, engineering, or CAD experience is beneficial
