Logic of English researches, develops, publishes and supports resources for teaching literacy skills. We are looking for a Community Education Consultant to join our team as we move into our new headquarters in Pine Island, MN. The Community Education Consultant will report onsite and will interact with LOE community members in-person and in virtual settings. This role will be responsible for supporting the LOE community through consultations, training, activities, and account needs. The Community Education Specialist will also assist in providing support to the Community & Procurement Coordinator as needed.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who excels in communicating with others, demonstrates flexibility and professional judgment, and has a strong understanding of phonics and literacy instruction. This role lives within the Customer Success Department and reports to the Director of Customer Success. This position includes a 90-day probationary period during which performance and suitability for the role will be evaluated.

Job Description

Community Education & Curriculum Support Responsibilities

● Participate in consultations with customers to assist them in navigating, understanding, and building confidence in using Logic of English resources.

● Offer guidance related to implementation options across various educational settings.

● Demonstrate understanding of Logic of English resources, including the research and concepts used to inform our approach.

● Provide support for onsite training and community engagement activities.

● Model key components of the Logic of English curriculum to support community education opportunities.

● Offer recommendations to customers about available products and resources that support instruction based on various factors, such as learning goals, budgetary needs, and learning environment.

● Assist in growing a community program aligned with the core values supported by Logic of English to fulfill our mission and promote access to literacy.

Community & Customer Support Responsibilities

● Build positive relationships with current and prospective Logic of English customers.

● Communicate with customers as a representative of Logic of English via written communication and live interactions.

● Use online and digital tools to support customer needs, including order and account management.

● Build, review, and finalize customer orders in alignment with internal processes.

● Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer needs are met.

● Participate in professional development to support continued growth in understanding customer needs and market trends. Advise customers on company practices, policies, and resources to support a positive experience.

● Facilitate onsite sales of curriculum products and merchandise.

● Provide support to the Community & Procurement Coordinator as needed to ensure onsite support of community relations.

Qualifications and Skills

● Demonstrate excellent communication skills in alignment with brand guidelines

● Exercise strong problem-solving skills and flexibility

● Understanding of diverse educational environments and instructional approaches

● Understanding of structured literacy, phonics, and science of reading research

● Strong skills in working collaboratively with individuals and teams

● Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

● Bachelor’s degree in education or similar field preferred

● Basic computer skills, including experience with or the ability to learn Zendesk, Brightpearl, Shopify, Confluence, and Google Suite

● Access to a dedicated workspace and the ability to work remotely from home in a quiet environment that facilitates answering calls and attending online meetings

Pay: $61,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
