Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Supplier Operations Manager to lead and optimize our supplier and vendor management processes. Duties
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes utilizing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and e-procurement platforms to manage sourcing, purchasing, and contract execution.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier relationships and reduce costs through effective negotiation and category management.
- Oversee vendor contract management, ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and contractual obligations while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or quality issues, implementing corrective actions to maintain supply continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, quality assurance, finance, and project management to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Manage supplier performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and foster strong supplier relationships to enhance delivery reliability and quality standards.
- Lead procurement negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring favorable pricing, terms, and risk mitigation aligned with strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, or vendor contract management within a complex organizational environment.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other e-procurement tools; experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, procurement category management, and procurement contract negotiation.
- Knowledge of procurement regulatory frameworks applicable to public sector purchasing or similar environments.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to perform root cause analysis for supply chain issues.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
- Procurement certification(s) such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or equivalent are preferred.
