Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Accounts Receivable & Collections Executive to take charge of our outstanding accounts and act as a key financial anchor for the company. This role goes beyond standard desk-based accounting; you will be the face and "ace" of our financial operations—managing critical payment recoveries, conducting field visits, and successfully resolving complex outstanding payment disputes.

Key Responsibilities

- Field Collections: Regularly visit client locations, corporate offices, and business sites to follow up on overdue payments and secure collections.

- Outstanding Management: Monitor, track, and manage aging reports to aggressively reduce overdue accounts receivable (AR).

- Dispute & Case Resolution: Investigate and solve complex billing disputes, payment discrepancies, and outstanding cases efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.

- Negotiation & Recovery: Execute strategic negotiation tactics to recover delayed or difficult payments in alignment with company policies.

- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of field visits, client commitments, collection status updates, and cash flow projections.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, billing, and customer service teams to address root causes of delayed payments and prevent future outstanding issues.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Proven experience (1 to 4 years) in accounts receivable, debt recovery, financial field collections, or corporate credit control.

- Mobility: Willingness and readiness to travel extensively for field-based client visits and meetings.

- Skills:

- Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution abilities.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle diverse clientele professionally.

- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and ledger reconciliation.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
