Unit Manager Responsibilities
-
Oversee daily clinical operations and workflow on the assigned unit
-
Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and CNAs
-
Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations
-
Review and update care plans, documentation, and clinical records
-
Administer medications and treatments as needed
-
Communicate with physicians, residents, and families regarding care updates
-
Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions
-
Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives
-
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to nursing staff
-
Ensure adherence to facility policies and state and federal regulations
Qualifications

Active New Jersey LPN or RN license
-
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience required

Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
