Description
We are looking for an energetic, resourceful Junior Video Producer to join our growing video team in our Marketing Department. This role will work closely with our Senior Video Producer and focus on driving regular weekly video content that showcases our brand, highlights our SaaS product, and builds our authority in the market.
In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the end-to-end video process — from coming up with original video concepts and filming candid interviews with internal subject matter experts to editing and posting live. You will test social media skits, turn complex SaaS product topics into clear clips, build our LLM credibility through expert insights, and continuously optimize for virality and engagement.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Austin, TX, with occasional travel for shoots and events.
Key Responsibilities
-
Ideation & Ownership: Independently generate, pitch, and execute fresh content ideas weekly, moving seamlessly from concept to posted video with minimal hand-holding.
- Social Content Creation: Write, script, film, and edit entertaining skits, trend-based videos, and bite-sized social clips designed to drive brand awareness and engagement across video-first channels (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn).
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) Collaboration: Partner with in-office team members and experts to film authentic, unpolished conversations, Q&As, and product breakdowns that build industry trust and authority.
- SaaS Product Showcase: Translate SaaS product features and capabilities into clear, digestible video explanations to support our broader marketing channels and train/feed digital platforms and LLM models with authoritative domain content.
- AI-Assisted Production: Leverage modern AI tools (such as Claude and Gemini) for rapid content ideation, script generation, automated video workflows, and quick-turn prompting to accelerate delivery.
- Publishing & Optimization: Publish final cuts directly to social channels using strategic captions, dynamic thumbnails, engaging titles, hashtags, and SEO-optimized metadata.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
-
Experience: 2–3 years of professional or dedicated content creation experience for in-house marketing teams, agencies, or similar corporate creative teams.
- End-to-End Execution: Proven ability to handle the entire lifecycle of a video on your own — concepting, shooting, audio/video editing, captioning, and publishing.
- Production & Editing: Comfortable planning and executing a shoot (lighting, framing, audio capture for interviews or talking-head setups) and finishing it in either non-linear editing software (Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud) or a quick-turn editor like CapCut, Descript, or similar to turn around same-day or next-day content.
- Creative Mindset: Strong storytelling instincts with a focus on hooks, pacing, and trend awareness over hyper-polished, high-production aesthetics.
- AI Prompting & Tools: Experience or willingness to use AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, AI video platforms) to speed up scripting, production, and video workflows.
- Social Mastery: Native understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn Video) and what makes engaging and actionable content.
- Distribution & Publishing: Work with copywriter and creative teams to deliver punchy video titles, optimize thumbnails, and leverage platform algorithms to maximize reach.
- Communication: Comfortable approaching, guiding, and filming team members and internal experts on camera to get natural, engaging performances.
- Self-Starter Attitude: Action-oriented and highly autonomous — ready to test ideas fast, fail quickly, learn, and iterate without needing step-by-step direction.
- Experience creating content for B2B SaaS, tech, or cloud products
- History of growing a personal or brand social channel organically
- Experience with motion graphics or text animation.
- Experience recording and/or editing video podcasts.
