We are seeking a London-based or Barcelona-based Associate Consultant to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare Commercial Consulting Services team, specialising in Customer Strategy and Commercialisation
The Associate Consultant is a critical member of project teams, providing analytical insight, leadership and creativity to client engagements, business development efforts and internal initiatives. They will also manage and deliver digital healthcare communication and engagement projects for some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies
Associate Consultants work alongside senior members of the team to define engagements, build work plans and develop deliverables with robust and valuable recommendations that are vital to ensuring our clients achieve success.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:

BA/BS in Life Sciences or Business (advanced degree a plus)

2 years’ consulting/advisory experience in biopharma or life sciences

Strong skills in research, analysis, forecasting and due diligence

Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools
It would be great if you also had :

MS//MPH/MBA/PhD is preferred.

Proficiency across various consulting and research methodologies, including the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis, primary & secondary research, and analytic modelling and forecasting.

Experienced with all Microsoft Office products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
What will you be doing in this role?

Lead and execute various primary and secondary research efforts needed for projects
-
Conduct qualitative research through desktop research and interviews with KOLs, physicians, providers, payors and industry knowledge experts to obtain insights and data relevant to client engagements.

Perform quantitative analysis (e.g., financial modelling, data manipulation, claims analysis) to develop accurate product and market forecasts (e.g., sales projections, size of market, etc.)

Synthesize large amounts of data into discrete stories and assumptions to determine the “so-what” for clients

Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs

Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers, etc.

Engage in multiple client projects, coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget, while developing leadership and project management skills

Support senior team members with opportunistic business development efforts including greenfield research and developing proposals and pitch books.

Contribute to the social environment by executing assigned firm-building activities including knowledge management, internal training sessions

Manage digital healthcare communication projects across their full lifecycle — from initial scoping to final delivery

Manage the global Clarivate Point of Care partner network, aligning capabilities and sharing best practices across markets.

Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients, maintaining clear communication, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.

Hours of Work : London
This is a full-time, permanent position based in London, UK, with hybrid working (2–3 days per week in the office )
This position requires weekday (Monday–Friday) attendance with some flexibility around core hours.
Hours of Work : Barcelona
This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The working schedule is flexible, mostly centered on CET time zone with occasional need to accommodate late or early meetings with US or East Asia time zones.
The position is hybrid going to the office in Barcelona 2-3 times per week.
