About the Role
This role is intended for experienced financial advisory representatives or individuals who are new to the financial advisory industry, and banking professionals who are interested in developing their advisory practice and building leadership capabilities for transition into management.
The role combines client advisory, business development and team-development responsibilities. The successful candidate will develop and manage a client portfolio while supporting candidate and development of new financial planning professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial needs analysis based on clients’ circumstances, objectives, and risk profiles.
Recommend suitable products and fund options based on the identified needs and risk profiles of clients.
Explain the features, benefits, risks, fees, and relevant limitations of recommended solutions clearly and accurately.
Assist clients with permitted fund-related transactions, such as fund switching or premium redirection, where appropriate.
Provide ongoing service and periodically review clients’ financial needs and insurance coverage.
Develop and manage a client portfolio in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.
Develop and implement business development and marketing plans.
Identify and refer prospective candidates through approved recruitment channels and processes.
Assist the appointed supervisor with authorised administrative and business-management activities.
Support the organisation’s business objectives through appropriate client service and business-development activities.
Requirements
Existing Financial Adviser Representatives, Relationship Managers, Wealth Managers, Personal Bankers, or Priority Banking professionals.
Banking, wealth management, insurance, or financial advisory experience.
Individuals new to the financial services industry are also welcome to apply.
Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
Minimum qualification of:
Diploma from a Local Polytechnic or equivalent; OR
GCE 'A' Levels; OR
Local/Private Bachelor’s degree in any field
