We are seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join our team. The Shipping Coordinator oversees all facets of parcel/unit shipping to ensure that all paperwork is properly done, all costs are controlled, and all products are shipped correctly and expeditiously.
Job Duties:
- Maintaining shipping schedule per production schedule
- Daily shipping schedule is complete and bill of ladings are ready for daily shipments
- Scheduling carriers for pickup
- Preparing all documents required for international shipments
- Answer emails and follow up in a timely manner
- Calculating freight quotes for sales
- Prepare SOP’s for shipping procedures
- Filing and updating freight claims
- Backup for parcel, shipping area & unit shipping
- Creates and maintains necessary paperwork and documents as required
- Maintains inventory of shipping supplies to meet demand with purchasing
- Any other duties for Operation deemed necessary by Management
- Explore and suggest shipping improvements, including more cost-efficient ways to ship orders
- Help coordinating any shipping issues with any new projects
- Daily/weekly/ monthly reports
