Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks along over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and debris removal.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using truck loading and unloading techniques, including manual handling when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards.
- Navigate using GPS systems to reach delivery locations accurately while managing route driving effectively.
- Transport various types of freight such as freight, hazardous materials, or dangerous goods, following all safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections of the truck before and after trips, including checking the flatbed or tanker components when applicable.
- Document delivery logs, shift reports, incident reports, and maintain accurate records of cargo handling activities.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driver experience with tractor-trailers or dump trucks.
- Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including manual handling skills for freight or cargo.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries.
- Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety standards related to truck driving.
- Ability to handle hazardous or dangerous goods safely and responsibly when required.
- Experience operating different types of trucks such as roll-off trucks or flatbeds is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks and long hours on the road.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 55.0 per week
