Job description
- Develop and maintain clean, scalable, and reliable Java backend services
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and development workflows
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and leverage AI tools and automation to improve team productivity
- Define and promote AI usage standards and best practices across the engineering team
- Establish validation practices for AI-generated code to ensure quality and maintainability
- Build reusable AI playbooks, templates, and toolkits to scale effective practices across the team
- Develop and maintain unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features
- Contribute to the evolution of microservices architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge and best practices
Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Development, or related fields
- At least 6 years of experience in Java Backend and Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, JUnit, etc)
- Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based application development
- Experience with AI-assisted development, workflow automation, or AI tools is a must
- Good knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM
- Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, design patterns, concurrency, and problem-solving
- Understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices
- Good/Fluent English communication is mandatory
- Proactive, open-minded, and willing to challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement
