Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to support seamless food service operations
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware to maintain a clean dining environment
- Support food handling procedures by ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored according to safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and maintain smooth workflow during busy hours
- Follow health and safety guidelines related to food industry standards and hotel or restaurant regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any sanitation issues quickly
- Help with light food service tasks as needed, including setting up or breaking down service stations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued
- Familiarity with basic cleaning practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards in the hospitality or food industry
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and support a positive work environment
- Experience working in catering, hotel service, or other hospitality settings is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or carrying supplies comfortably
