Purchasing Manager
Duties:
-
In charge team of staff in managing sourcing and purchasing functions
-
Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers
-
Co-ordinate procurement efforts, cost reduction programs and new projects with Product Management and R & D
-
Ensure optimum prices, specifications, delivering and quality raw materials to support production
-
Work closely with factories on product requirements
-
Monitor market conditions and practices and provide strategic advice
-
Maintain and build up rapport with major suppliers in the region
Requirements:
-
University graduate with degree in Engineering is preferable
-
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Management of Productions and Operations
-
6 -8 Years experience in Electronic or Semiconductors industry in which at 3 years in years in supervisory position
-
Establishing contacts to major suppliers in component market , particularly in Asia
-
Good command of English , Cantonese and Mandarin
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skill

Proactive and analytical
