StageYou, Inc. is recruiting an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing U.S. technology company.
We are seeking a hands-on engineer with a proven track record of building, shipping, and maintaining production-grade software. The ideal candidate has strong full-stack engineering experience across modern web applications, scalable backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud-based systems.
This role offers significant technical ownership and the opportunity to build and scale high-impact technology products in a fast-moving engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade web applications and backend services
- Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed application components
- Build responsive, performant user interfaces using modern frontend technologies
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases
- Deploy and operate applications in modern cloud environments
- Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested production code
- Participate in architecture, system design, and technical decision-making
- Own features end-to-end from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications or platforms
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with at least one modern backend technology such as Python, Node.js, Go, or Java
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Experience designing and developing REST or GraphQL APIs, backend services, and microservices
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
- Experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and code review
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, system design, API architecture, and database modeling
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within engineering teams
Preferred Skills
Experience in one or more of the following is highly advantageous:
- Hands-on experience with production GenAI integrations, including LLM APIs, RAG architectures, AI agents, embeddings, or vector databases such as Pinecone, pgvector, or Weaviate
- Familiarity with AI orchestration and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or direct model API integrations
- Experience building or integrating AI-enabled features into production software products
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other cloud-native infrastructure technologies
- Experience with microservices and distributed-system architecture
- Exposure to message brokers and event-driven systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience designing systems for scale, reliability, performance, and high availability
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS, software product, or venture-backed startup environments
You do not need experience with every preferred technology listed above. We value strong engineering fundamentals, demonstrated technical depth, and the ability to learn and work across modern software systems.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
