Class A CDL Driver

As our CDL-A Driver, your mission is to safely and efficiently transport pumps, hoses, tanks, and rental equipment to and from customer locations while protecting customers, coworkers, the public, and company assets. You will inspect vehicles and equipment, plan routes, secure loads, operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, and support loading, unloading, and yard operations as needed to ensure exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

Transportation & Delivery

-
Operate assigned commercial vehicles to complete deliveries, pickups, and branch transfers.

Review routes, customer instructions, equipment, and shipping documents before departure.

-
Communicate delays, site concerns, or equipment issues promptly.

Load Securement & Equipment Handling

-
Determine safe load placement and use required straps, chains, binders, and securement methods.

-
Inspect securement during transit and before unloading.

-
Assist with loading, unloading, pumps, hoses, and forklifts when trained and assigned.

Vehicle & Documentation

-
Complete required pre-trip, post-trip, mileage, delivery, and vehicle records.

Maintain the assigned vehicle and report defects without delay.

Safety & Customer Service

-
Follow DOT, customer-site, refinery, driving, and company safety requirements.

-
Represent NTE professionally at customer and public locations.

To Succeed, You Will Need

-
Valid Class A CDL held for more than 3 years with a clean driving record.

-
Minimum of 3 year's experience operating a commercial vehicle.

-
Ability to pass and maintain a DOT physical and medical certification.

-
Possess or can obtain and maintain a valid TWC card.

-
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.

-
Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule.

-
Strong knowledge of vehicle safety, weights, load distribution, and securement.

-
Safety-focused judgment and awareness in industrial environments.

-
Ability to complete physical loading and equipment-handling tasks safely.

Job Location & Schedule

This position is based at our Beaumont location and requires local field service travel. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime and participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
