Position Summary

The Operations & Logistics Technician is a non-supervisory role responsible for the activities associated with the receipt, storage, and shipping of materials. Working within Flip's quality management system (QMS) and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, the Technician keeps inventory accurate, documentation compliant, and customer orders moving on time.

Reports to: Sr Warehouse Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Perform administrative receipt of incoming material in accordance with Flip's quality management system.

- Perform material storage and inventory activities in accordance with Flip's quality management system.

- Perform shipping activities in accordance with Flip's quality management system and other statutory and regulatory authorities.

- Review sales, purchasing, and operations documentation to confirm compliance with quality management system requirements.

- Support sales activities by providing technical advice.

- Maintain accurate and complete records.

- Maintain general housekeeping of all Operations areas.

- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Education

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum Experience

- Experience with data reporting and document analysis.

- Experience with U.S. export control regulations.

Skills and Competencies

- Working knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse procedures.

- Familiarity with ERP systems, shipping software, and inventory management processes.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing shipments, receiving materials, and maintaining records.

- Ability to accurately verify quantities, part numbers, purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, customers, vendors, and carriers.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy and productivity.

- Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve routine shipping and receiving issues, and escalate problems when appropriate.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods, including long hours throughout the workday, as required by business operations.

- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and move throughout the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas for extended periods.

- Ability to safely handle and move incoming and outgoing shipments, boxes, pallets, and other materials.

- Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to handle packages, labels, paperwork, computer equipment, and scanning devices.

- Ability to visually inspect shipments, read labels and shipping documents, and accurately enter and verify information.

- Ability to sit and work at a computer for periods of time while completing shipping, receiving, inventory, and administrative tasks.

- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and other typical environmental conditions.

- Ability to maintain safe and effective movement around warehouse equipment, storage areas, loading docks, and other workspaces.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
