We are looking for an organized, dependable, and personable Staffing Recruiter & Onboarding Coordinator to help us build and manage our growing candidate pipeline.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process, and wants the opportunity to grow with a developing company.
Position Details
Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 24 hours per week
Location: Bedford, TX – On-site
Employment Type: Part-Time
90-Day Review: Performance-based review with opportunity for a pay increase
Growth Opportunity: Additional hours and potential full-time opportunity as ICON continues to grow
Responsibilities
-Recruit candidates for manufacturing and industrial positions
-Review applications and resumes
-Contact applicants by phone, text, and email
-Conduct initial phone screens
-Explain job duties, pay, schedules, physical requirements, and working conditions
-Screen candidates for overall job-reality fit, reliability, and willingness to perform the work
-Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate start dates
-Complete and organize onboarding paperwork
-Coordinate required background checks and pre-employment drug screening
-Maintain accurate candidate information in our staffing system
-Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process
-Confirm candidates prior to their scheduled start date
-Follow up with new hires after they begin working
-Maintain a strong pool of qualified candidates for current and future openings
-Post and refresh job advertisements
-Assist with general recruiting and office responsibilities
Qualifications
-Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or office experience is preferred
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Professional and friendly phone presence
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
-Comfortable making frequent phone calls and communicating with candidates throughout the day
-Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
-Ability to work independently after training
-Reliable and dependable
-Strong follow-through and attention to detail
-Ability to manage multiple candidates at different stages of the hiring process
-Comfortable working in a professional office environment
-Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred but not required

The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people find employment while also being comfortable having honest conversations about job expectations.
Our manufacturing positions can involve physically demanding work, hot industrial environments, standing for extended periods, lifting, repetitive production work, and other industrial conditions.
The recruiter will be responsible for making sure candidates understand the reality of each position before they are sent to the client.
We are looking for someone who can identify candidates who are not only qualified on paper, but who are actually likely to succeed and stay on the job.
