COMPANY PRFOILE
TRST01 is a ClimateTech and Digital Trust Infrastructure company that builds AI-native platforms for traceability, sustainability, carbon markets, and compliance-driven supply chains. Leveraging Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), AI, blockchain, geospatial intelligence, and data governance, TRST01 enables trusted, transparent, and interoperable ecosystems across agriculture, commodities, manufacturing, and environmental markets.
Its solutions include end-to-end traceability, EUDR compliance, digital MRV (dMRV), sovereign carbon registries, ESG reporting, and AI-powered decision support. TRST01 also developed the Open Agri Trace Stack (OATS), an open, standards-based blueprint for agricultural traceability.
TRST01 partners with governments, enterprises, and development institutions to build trusted, compliant, and sustainable digital ecosystems that deliver measurable climate and business impact.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You build things that work — and you have done it for real clients, not just yourself. You use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, and Replit to ship fast. You understand what something should feel like to use, not just that it technically runs. You are comfortable with frontier models and with free local models (Ollama, LM Studio), and you know when each is the right choice — balancing cost, latency, and data sensitivity.
This role covers practical, high-value ancillary tools that support institutional client work: content automation, lead generation, AI receptionists, and internal tooling. The tools you build will support client-facing workflows for governments and regulated industries — quality standards are institutional, not startup. TRST01 provides API credits and tool access.
WHAT WILL YOU BUILD?
● Content creation and publishing automation — scheduled posts, AI-written copy, approval workflows, image generation pipelines
● Lead generation workflows — enrichment, scoring, personalised outreach via N8N and Google Sheets
● AI receptionists and chatbots — using frontier models (GPT-4o, Claude) or local models via Ollama or LM Studio based on cost and data sensitivity
● Internal tools — report generators, data formatters, notification systems, simple dashboards
● API integrations connecting platforms such as LinkedIn, Gmail, Google Sheets, CRMs, and proprietary data sources
NON-NEGOTIABLES
Show your work — including client work.
No portfolio, no interview. We want at least one example of something you built for a client or a real external user — not only personal projects. Show us live workflows, Loom videos, GitHub links, or screenshots. The work must be yours.
Speak N8N fluently.
We will ask you to walk through a workflow you built — every node, every decision. Make.com, Zapier, or similar platforms are a bonus, not a substitute.
Understand API cost management.
You will be responsible for keeping AI API costs under control. That means knowing when to use a premium model versus a lightweight one (e.g. GPT-4o vs GPT-4o-mini vs Claude Haiku), when to use a local model via Ollama or LM Studio instead of a cloud API, how to cache responses and batch requests, and how to estimate and report token usage. Cost-blind automation is not acceptable.
Build, do not just execute.
We want someone who has taken initiative — freelanced, built a side project, or solved a problem before being asked. If every line you have ever written followed a spec someone else wrote, this role is not yet the right fit.
REQUIRED SKILLS
● You have built 2+ real workflows for clients or external users — you can show the work and explain every decision
● You have charged a client for automation work, even informally or for a small fee
● You understand API authentication, webhooks, and data mapping without Googling every step
● You can estimate and justify the AI API cost of a workflow before building it
● You have run a local model via Ollama or LM Studio and understand the trade-offs versus cloud APIs
● You have product instinct — you think about the person using the tool, not just the technical output
GOOD TO HAVE
● Exposure to sustainability, ESG, supply chain traceability, or climate data
● Experience building AI chatbots or voice agents for external users
● Ability to write clear, concise documentation for non-technical stakeholders
HOW WE WORK
● Fully remote, async-first
● Milestone-based deliverables — you own your outcomes
● TRST01 provides API credits, compute access, and required tool subscriptions
● Direct access to the founder — no bureaucracy
