About This Job
As a Revenue Analyst, you are responsible for maximizing revenue performance across an assigned portfolio of short-term rental properties, with a particular focus on our mountain and ski destination markets. Daily tasks include managing dynamic pricing through Wheelhouse, analyzing booking pace and market trends, and identifying opportunities to improve occupancy and rate performance. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making and the use of AI tools to increase speed and accuracy of execution. This position reports to the Revenue Management Manager.
Compensation + Schedule
- $75,000 - $88,000 Annual less payroll deductions and all required withholdings
- Fully Remote
- Based in Colorado preferred; open to candidates in other markets with deep ski market expertise.
- Typically Monday - Friday schedule. May need to flex per the needs of the business on occasion.
- Weekends and holidays may be required
Essential Job Functions
- Manage day-to-day pricing strategy for an assigned portfolio of short-term rental properties using Wheelhouse, adjusting pricing rules, minimum stays, and overrides to maximize revenue.
- Monitor and analyze booking pace, occupancy, and rate performance against budget, comp sets, and prior-year trends.
- Apply deep knowledge of ski destination travel patterns, including holiday periods, powder days, event calendars, and shoulder seasons, to anticipate demand shifts and adjust pricing proactively.
- Conduct competitive market analysis to benchmark pricing against comparable properties in each market.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards to track revenue performance, KPIs, and progress against financial targets.
- Identify and act on pricing and availability opportunities across OTA channels, including Airbnb and VRBO.
- Use SQL and/or Excel to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable pricing recommendations.
- Leverage AI tools to streamline analysis, reporting, and daily workflows, improving speed and accuracy of execution.
- Partner with the broader revenue management team to refine pricing strategy as new markets and properties are onboarded.
- Communicate pricing strategy, performance results, and market insights to internal stakeholders and property owners as needed.

Skills + Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in revenue management, pricing analytics, or a related analytical role; short-term rental or hospitality experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Wheelhouse or comparable dynamic pricing software for short-term rentals preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ski market travel patterns, seasonality, and demand drivers; personal or professional experience with ski destinations strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL or Excel for data analysis, including the ability to pull insights from large datasets.
- Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to improve speed and quality of work, and eagerness to adopt new tools and workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and markets simultaneously while prioritizing effectively under deadlines.
- Familiarity with OTA channel management (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com) preferred.
- Based in Colorado preferred; open to candidates in other markets with deep ski market expertise.
- Tech-savvy with experience using various digital systems and applications and comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and various software platforms.
- Comfortable talking to people—online or in person—and being able to share information in a way that's clear, thoughtful, and easy to understand.
