We help organisations unlock value throughout the transaction lifecycle, from acquisitions and divestments to strategic investments and capital market transactions.Working with leading multinational organisations, private equity investors and fast-growing businesses, we provide independent insights that enable confident decision-making. Combining financial advisory expertise, business consulting capabilities, data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration, we help clients identify opportunities, mitigate risks and maximise deal value.What your day will look likeAs a Transaction Services Expert, you will play a leading role in delivering high-impact projects and guiding teams through complex transactions. You will work closely with clients, deal stakeholders and specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver quality outcomes and exceptional client experiences.You will:
- Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements across a broad range of industries and transaction sizes.
- Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, execution and delivery while ensuring excellent quality and timely completion of engagements.
- Analyse financial performance, earnings quality, working capital trends, cash flows, debt positions and key value drivers to support investment decisions.
- Apply advanced financial analysis, Excel modelling and data analytics techniques to generate meaningful business insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with specialists from strategy consulting, operations, tax, legal, HR, technology solutions and managed services teams to provide integrated advice.
- Develop trusted relationships with clients, investors, advisors and senior executives throughout the transaction process.
- Lead client presentations, workshops and discussions, translating complex findings into clear business recommendations.
- Identify commercial opportunities, contribute to business development initiatives and support the preparation of winning client proposals.
- Promote innovation by leveraging technology, financial consulting tools and data-driven methodologies that improve client outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders, align diverse perspectives and help clients navigate critical decisions before, during and after transactions.
- Share knowledge, contribute to thought leadership initiatives and drive continuous improvement within the practice.
- Coach, mentor and develop team members, creating an inclusive environment where people can learn, grow and realise their potential.
- Foster collaboration, encourage different perspectives and help build diverse, high-performing teams.
What we will expect from youWe are looking for a commercially minded and growth-oriented professional with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in financial due diligence, M&A advisory, transaction services or a related financial environment.You bring:
- A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Accounting or another relevant field.
- Proven experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, M&A, corporate finance, financial accounting advisory services, audit or controlling.
- Strong financial analysis capabilities combined with excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets and analytical tools. Experience with Power BI, Alteryx or similar technologies is an advantage.
- The ability to structure complex problems, interpret data and translate insights into practical business recommendations.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, budgeting, prioritisation and stakeholder management.
- A collaborative, inclusive and supportive leadership style, with a genuine passion for coaching and developing others.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership, challenge constructively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to quality, integrity and continuous learning.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities that create value for clients and support business growth.
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French.
